I tried everything from deactivating the plugin to reinstalling it, still no luck, still blank pages with only the “save plugin settings” button.
I am running WP 3.5 and plugin ver 1.4.6
And I really need to get at those settings…
Thank you for any possible help,
Eva-Maria
Eva-Maria,
Do you see any error messages? Can you check your PHP error log after you try to load the settings page? What is the last item shown on the part of the settings page that you can see?
What browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser?
How about the manage database fields page…the tabs working there?
No error message, just empty page. Same is with the other tabs, just the general settings work. You can see the screenshot here

I use Firefox but I tried with IE as well, no luck.
Manage fields tabs work OK.
How do I access the php error logs?
Thanks, Eva-Maria
Eva-Maria,
Actually, the error log won’t help. The problem is most likely in the Javascript. What would really help is if you could get the “console errors” when you load the setting page. In IE, open the developer tools, then click on the “console” tab. Now, try to load the settings page and then click on a tab. Report any errors that show up in the console.
I get this error message
CSS3117: @font-face failed cross-origin request. Resource access is restricted.
noticons-regular-webfont.eot
BTW, I get the same message when I load the General Settings page, but the page appears OK.
OK, well, that’s not related. I’m pretty sure that there is a conflict with another plugin. Did you install a plugin recently?
not in a while. Here is the list of plugins that are active o the site:
Add Link to Facebook
Facebook Like Box
Fast Secure Contact Form
Jetpack by WordPress.com
My Link Order
My Posts Order
myRepono Backup Plugi
Participants Database
Polaroid Gallery
TheThe Posts and Comments Widget
WP Super FAQ
Yes, you just have to try disabling them…starting with the ones that affect things on the admin side.
Thanks!
The plugin that caused the problem was TheThe Posts and Comments Widget.
For information, another plugin that causes a big mess with the database is Relevanssi.
The plugin “Social Essentials” also appears to conflict with PDB. PDB is well worth keeping so I deleted Social Essentials.
Thanks, jstorck, identifying plugins that are incompatible is helpful. The authors of “Social Essentials” have chosen to load their javascript and CSS everywhere in the admin and it’s interfering with other plugins.
I found this plugin also interferes with the Settings tabs:
