# Help! Theme Crashes

 * Help!
    My theme has been crashes by some reasons. I downloaded plugin and then
   deactivate it multiple times. Not sure this is the reason..
 * I was trying to install other themes but it seems other themes can’t display 
   well as either.. I wonder if there is something wrong on the code..
 * Could anyone check for me? or let me know how to set back to default template?

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder
   inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using
   [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management application
   your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

 * hmm, it doesn’t work out. I add “-old” after the “theme” folder under my ftp 
   file management. After I refresh my website, it is still look the same Is there
   other ways to fix it?
