# HELP – Theme Installation

 * Ironic. The free WordPress has more themes to chose from. Now that I purchased
   the full version of wordpress, i have only 2 themes. So, now, I have to go through
   the pain of downloading additional themes. I downloaded a few and they went straight
   to the C: drive on my computer. What is the step by step instruction on how to
   load these new themes onto my wordpress system so that I can use it?

 * the install comes with two themes because they are the original and there are
   hundreds of themes out there. The developers have no idea which would suit your
   particular needs.
 * To install a theme use an FTP such as Filezilla [http://filezilla-project.org/](http://filezilla-project.org/)
   to upload your selected themes to wp-content>>themes
 * then select and play
