# help understanding error message ‘ob_gzhandler’

 * I get this message at the top of my page, when I refresh it goes away, but I’d
   like to know what it is and how to fix it. I thought at first it might have something
   to do with the SEO plugin but after disabling it I still get that message.
 * Warning: ob_start() [ref.outcontrol]: output handler ‘ob_gzhandler’ cannot be
   used after ‘URL-Rewriter’ in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/frontpage/wp-includes/functions.

 * if I click on [ref.outcontrol]I get this;
 * file not found
 * frontpage/ref.outcontrol?PHPSESSID=3c0cae6dffacd0d78e58cb5d75cd8dd1
 * ETA: Just came across HandySolo’s recommend to disable gzip, will try that.
