    I recently moved my website off of the WP server onto my own using ww.wp.xz.cn. I have a ton of videos and film clips on the website that were uploaded via VP when I used the WP server. To have them to show up on my server (there are a lot), I subscribed to Jetpack’s VideoPress feature. They show up now BUT they are all set to private. I’ve tried the following:

    • Turning on and off video privacy in Jetpack settings.
    • Turning on video “compose using shortcodes to embed media from popular sites” as suggested in Jetpack troubleshooting.
    • Deactivated and reactivated Jetpack as suggested by their troubleshooting guide.
    • Submitted a question to Jetpack days ago and they haven’t gotten back to me.

    My next option is deleting Jetpack and reinstalling it. BUT I can’t find anywhere whether or not my videos will be deleted with Jetpack. I CAN NOT lose these videos. There are 10+ years worth of videos in hundreds of posts.

    I have not received a clear response. I was given a link to download all my VideoPress video and it doesn’t work. I keep trying to go through the “happiness engineers,” explaining the entire situation with example links. Hours later I get an email from someone wanting more info– they do not seem to know what I am talking about at all.
