# Help with Database Error!

 * I was getting a database connection error and I checked all my settings from 
   my host against my config file and everything looks fine. I ran the auto repair
   and it didn’t fix it. It gave me these to copy and paste here:
 * wp_posts: Incorrect file format ‘wp_posts’
    wp_comments: Incorrect file format‘
   wp_comments’ wp_options: Incorrect file format ‘wp_options’ wp_postmeta: Incorrect
   file format ‘wp_postmeta’ wp_term_relationships: Incorrect file format ‘wp_term_relationships’
 * Please help!

 * Would a backup even help? Nothing has been changed for months.
