# Help with formatting Posts

 * Hi! So i am very new at wordpress and coding and I recently created a new theme
   following a youtube tutorial and when I start to do my posts I seem to have very
   limited options with what i can do with inserting different media and even when
   I do use the options they give me, like where to align the picture, or to wrap
   text around it, it wont work.

 * Any ideas? Im trying to make a website for a friend who doesnt know how to code
   at all and I know i can go into the thick of it and like specifically hard code
   it to format it every single time but is there a way to not have to do that?

    have you checked out the Free themes in the WordPress.org repository? This
   is the link – [https://wordpress.org/themes/](https://wordpress.org/themes/).
   Maybe you can find a theme that suits your friend’s website(?).
 * If you want to do it yourself, from scratch, remember never hardcode things in
   the template files.
    You can use the examples in the theme repository to see 
   how people have coded their websites as well.
 * From what I see the site looks ok, just needs some CSS love.

   In there you can see lots of information about making your theme awesome.
