# Help with shortcode

 * Hi!
 * I have a shortcode for my homepage where I would like to add an extra code but
   it doesn’t seem to work. Not sure where I do it wrong. The code needs to show
   a specific productcategory: vakantiehuisjes. This is the code that I am using
   now:
 * [products limit=”8″ columns=”4″ orderby=”rand” class=”productenhome” product_category
   =”vakantiehuisjes”]
 * But there are products shown from all categories, not just from ”vakantiehuisjes”.

   Try replacing
   the `product_category` with `category` and using the category slug instead of
   its name.Alternatively, you can use [WooCommerce Blocks](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-blocks/)
   to render [products by categories](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-blocks-configuration/#section-33).

 * Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately both are not working as the way I want
   to. I tried different varieties with the URL and also the blocks but it is not
   working.
