# Help with shortcode listning

 * Hello, I am using the shortcode to retrieve all the events, but order seems to
   be absolutely ignored. How can I order items by start_date? This code doesn’t
   work
 * `[events layout_type="list" orderby="event_start_date" order="DESC"]`

 * You need to have a start and end DATE and TIME for all your events. Only then
   this shortcode works.
