 * Hello There,
 * I apologize in advance if there is an answer to my questions somewhere else.
I have read so many forums and articles on the subject that I literally can’t
   see straight anymore!
 * I have been selling on eBay for a few years now, and have been trying to expand
into my own website for about a year now. The problem is, NONE of the most popular
CMS/Shopping cart programs are easy, at all, for non-tech types, such as myself.
WordPress is by far the closest to easy I have tried though.
 * I simply do not have time to find merchandise, list it for sale, learn CSS/php/
html, build websites, maintain them and populate them with content to drive traffic
all at the same time. So, as a consequence, the site has never fully been implemented.
 * This is the result of my best effort, even having spent $50 or so for the custom
theme template then tweaking it a bit:
 * [http://www.darthtraders.com](http://www.darthtraders.com)
 * I have been trying to use this guide for creating “child themes”, but, it is
   above my head, technically.
 * My ultimate plan is for darthtraders.com to be my “corporate” site where clients
visit to learn about my re-selling services. For end Buyers/customers I plan
to have 2 sites: 1 to serve as a content/blog/interest site and another site
to serve as my e-commerce portal.
 * What I need primarily is help with getting the initial site development. I am
perfectly fine with some of the free themes I have come across. They just need
some minor tweaking, such as adding my pictures/logos in the header, and minor
color adjustments to suit my needs.
 * I am constrained by a limited budget and am a one man operation. I was wondering
if you guys could either direct me to a WYSIWYG editor that would allow me to
modify existing themes myself or to a reasonably priced consultant. I imagine
any of the changes I want done will be fairly easy for someone who understands
the basic coding framework of WordPress.
 * Also, I am not opposed to switching to another CMS altogether if there is a friendlier
one. However, I have tried Joomla, Prestashop, opencart & Magento already, and
   they are certainly no easier.
 * Thank you in advance, and sorry for the noobie questions, lol.

 * There really is not a WYSIWYG editor that will change how WP works, and there
is a learning curve. Some themes have more built-in options so that can make
it a bit easier – but you still have to spend time setting them up even if they
don’t involve coding. Two such themes are Suffusion and Weaver, so you could
   check those out.
 * But it sounds like you may just need to hire someone – and you could do that
   by posting a listing here:

 * But per the forum rules, we have to close threads on [that topic](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Offering_to_Pay)
as they attract too much spam. If you want to ask more questions about using
WordPress, feel free to open another thread.
