# Help – WordPress requesting a ‘Magic’ password

 * Hi,
    I am trying to update a page on my website. Everytime I click save draft
   or publish a message appears asking for a Authentication (this has never happened
   before). In the request it says ‘A username and password are being requested 
   by [http://www.alineplanning.org](http://www.alineplanning.org). The site says:“
   Magic”.
 * Has anyone esle had this problem? Is it a new wordpress feature?
 * I have typed in my password but it does not seem to work.
 * Just keeps saying access denied.
 * Thanks.

 * Thanks guys, deactivating the plugins and then upgrading wordpress (as suggested
   from your links) seems to have worked.
