Hidden installation

Hi,

I’m a beginner, also sorry for my english 🙂

I’m during rebuilding my site, i want to migrate from static html/css to wordpress, i know how to install and configure,

My question is, is there a way to install wordpress, that nobody have acces to it during installation and configuration, i read about .htacces where i can config who have acces to my site by ip,

I also have question, can i put some static page (even a img) while i’m doing the installation, that everybody will see, and then when everythink is ready (all wordpress install, configuration) make that everybody have acces to site (with new wordpress installation)

i want that the domain still will be the same
