# Hide blocks on Frontend: Hidden in Backend too!

 * 6.9 Beta 1 on Theme “Twenty Twenty-Five”
 * Hide blocks on Frontend would be, as described, a great help in worklflow.
 * But the actual option hides it in Backend too! – Which makes it completely useless
   🙁
 * (Would force an explicit unhide for each edit and a new, never forget, hide before
   each saving!

 * I hope things are going well for you.
 * I could replicate what you’re mentioning with NP 6.9 Beta 1, which is an expected
   feature of the current build. I understand what you are expecting instead of 
   completely hiding, it should be Dimming/overlaying in the backend what we hide.
