# Hide Countdown

 * I want to TURN OFF / HIDE the countdown that displays over top of the lower portion
   of the feature slider – the Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds. How do I remove these
   graphic elements AND the black bar? Please help and thank you!

 * The elements you are describing seem to actually be coded into your theme. Since
   The Events Calendar doesn’t modify theme files, I would recommend that you reach
   out to the theme developer or someone who is comfortable with theme modifications.
