# Hide Other Elements

 * Hello, I am not able to use the function to **hide other elements**.
 * I have an ACF field that may or may not have text, and when it doesn’t have text
   it will be hidden, but I wanted it to also hide the element below that is a dividing
   line, but I’m not managing to make the association/connection of the elements
   with this feature.
 * In the description, it says **will hide all other elements matching the selector**,
   but where and how do I place the selector?
 * Can you help me? I’ve been searching and can’t find anything.

 * You could give a CSS class to the element you can hide.
    Then specify this class
   as a selector, e.g. “.my-class”.
