# Hide specific posts

 * I’d like to exclude specific posts from displaying upon loading the filter page.
 * Specifically my website hosts online classes. these are written as posts. Within
   the filer set have selected certain categories to filter from, however when page
   loads ALL posts display initially until they are filtered.
 * Is there a way to hide certain posts from being picked up by the initial display?

 * You can it, but not on the plugin side, it does not apply any modification before
   the page loads; you need to modify the WP_Query that displays posts on your page
   to exclude the ones you don’t want to see.
