 * Hi,
 * I have setup WooCommerce and using a plugin to automatically import products.
   Since there is the automation I cannot make changes to the “colour” that is imported.
   Since there were a lot of different wordings for the same colour, I created a
   new attribute and added a variation so I can than assign a filter to make the
   user experience better.
 * However now I have 2x colour listed in the product page. One is the one I want
   to keep “colour” which is the imported version (thus need it as this also links
   to orders). And the one I set “Belt Colour”.
 * I would like to make the “Belt Colour” invisible and automatically selects when
   the user selected the linked product.
 * Is this possible? or even better remove it completely from the front end and
   just have it in the backend without blocking the user in adding to cart.

 * thanks

 * Hi [@marlvass](https://wordpress.org/support/users/marlvass/),
 * It isn’t possible to hide the Belt Colour attribute and have it automatically
   selected.
 * You can remove it from the product the same way you added it.
 * As far as the “Colour” attribute, that is most likely a Global Attribute. You
   can learn more about product attributes and the differences between Global and
   Custom attributes here – [https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#product-attributes](https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#product-attributes).
