# High CPU usage while saving template files

 * Hi all,
 * I am running wordpress in a VPS server from slicehost. Recently I noticed that
   while saving the theme files it is taking a long time(some times nothing will
   happen) and the CPU usage on the VPS is very high. What can be the reason? The
   same thing happened while publishing a post. but it is automatically fixed now.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
