This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Hey there,
Sounds like a compatibility issue. To find the culprit (a conflicting plugin or theme), you may follow this flowchart: https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif
Remember to backup your site before.
Also, I recommend that you enable debug mode and see any clues on the logs. More information about this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
Thank you so much for your helpful advice, guys. It seems clear to me that the problem resides in an incompatibility with my theme. I will look into the Health Check plugin and contact my theme developer regarding this matter.
Cheers,
