 * Are there any hooks to the importer for 3rd party plugins? Where can I see those?

 * There are no hooks. This plugin is not designed for auto-blogging like CSV 2 
   POST is. This plugin is intended to import previous exports from WordPress itself.
 * CSV 2 POST allows 3rd party software, even none WordPress. To import data to 
   a special database table. CSV 2 POST can then make use of that data. That might
   be the sort of thing you need.
 * Failing that WebTechGlobal does have other solutions with a lot of updates coming.
   I would be interested in hearing about your needs in regards to hooks and what
   plugins would integrate.
