# Hosting Migration Question

 * Right now I have wordpress installed on a friend’s server, who also provides 
   my hosting. However, that install has some issues, such as that the flash uploader
   doesn’t work, the plugin/theme installer doesn’t work, etc. I am moving to a 
   new host this weekend (bluehost) and I was wondering if it is possible to use
   a new install (the auto-install) while still keeping my existing database? And
   if that is possible, would my old problems end up still occurring on the new 
   host as well?
 * I have looked at the Moving WordPress FAQ, but I can’t find anything about this
   sort of thing on there.

 * Those instructions are for people who are changing the address of the blog. I
   am not changing the address or domain, merely the hosting.

 * The 2nd instruction was fot both domain name change and hosting change which 
   I threw in as a bonus in case you needed assistance there too. But the first 
   link I gave has the steps you would need to migrate your blog.
 * Server equivalent to Hosting, just in case you didn’t understand that. I should
   have checked your profile earlier, you have lots of forum threads regarding this
   matter where many have tried to help you, but you just refuse to heed suggestions.

   work!
