    Can you add a hover state to each of the buttons with your plugin?
 * A simple image swap like this would be great that we could control via CSS:

 * Yes, I think a simple opacity hover should be easily achievable.
    I should have
   some time to add that feature this coming weekend.

 * There is now a hover effect option in the plugin, where you can choose to have
   the icons either dim or brighten on hover.
