# How do I remove boxes

 * How do I remove the ‘search box’ and ‘recent post’ box from the main column. 
   Currently it is situated above my static page and duplicated on my site. I would
   like those items to only be in the side bar and not on the main column.

 * Those widgets are currently in the “Before Main Content” widget area. To remove
   them, visit the Widgets page (Appearance > Widgets) and locate the Before Main
   Content widget area. There, you can select each widget and drag it out or click
   the remove button.
