# How do I remove WordPress completely?

 * I am having trouble installing/configuring WordPress and want to remove everyting
   to start with a clean slate. I have erased/renamed all the folders where WordPress
   was installed, install all the files again, but then I get this error message:
 * You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your
   old database tables first.
 * I can’t access the dashboard of the previous installation, I can’t reinstall 
   WordPress. What do I do?
 * Thanks for any help.

 * just remove wp-config.php from your blog home directory and then try to install
   it.

 * You’ll need a tool to access the MySQL database to clear out the wordpress database.
   Your host should provide you with these tools ie PHPMyAdmin is a popular web 
   based tool. Whenever you have access you just need to clear all the tables from
   the wordpress database then you should be able to reinstall.
