I would like to know this also as I am trying to create directores on profile fields (for example a directory for football players, soccer players, etc.) I have entered the shortcode but is blank as well.
Hi Carsten and nketola,
Could you please specify your WordPress version, BuddyPress version and the theme you are using, so I can try to reproduce the issue?
You can find the [bps_directory] documentation here:

I am using BuddyBoss Platform and BuddyBoss Theme. Per a few other threads here I have tried using the directory shortcode, and also the form I created. I verifed that the form worked but that the directory shortcode did not.
Hi nketola,
I’ve just tested [bps_directory] with the free BuddyBoss Platform 1.8.7 and a standard theme, and it works correctly. I don’t have a copy of your software (BuddyBoss Theme and BuddyBoss Platform Pro) because it’s paid software.
Could you please test using the free BuddyBoss Platform and a standard theme to see if that makes a difference?
HI there I am using Buddyboss Platform and BuddyBoss Standard theme and I tried to create a new custom directory as per instruction but [bps_directory] shortcode is not working.

Hi Sheraz,
Is the plugin BP Profile Search installed and activated? I’m asking because BuddyBoss contains a basic version of BP Profile Search that doesn’t support the [bps_directory] shortcode.
Yes is active and installed. but that shortcode is also not working also when I create a form there I am also unable to see that member directory
Hi Sheraz,
I’d offer to take a look at your installation to fix this problem, but that’s against the WordPress forum policy.
