# How does one import SQL Backup without MyPHPadmin

 * Here is the issue, site changed server, and when put on the new site, stopped
   working, but when we realized that we would have needed an XML file, it was too
   late to get… as for the backup, we used a backup-plugin to get the SQL backup
   of the database. All we want is the posts, categories, pages, and tags… but when
   we import the whole sql file, we get a redirect error.
 * Q: is there a way to JUST import the pages/posts and their appropriate data tables
   through a selected set of tables in the SQL to upload?
 * or
 * Q: Is there away to convert the SQL into a XML file that can be imported?
