• Hi –

If someone saves an image as a pin from my post (for pinterest), the pin description is not loading. I thought the alt-text would load as the pin description. But it is!

Earlier in my previous theme, I used to edit the image code to add a data-pin-description = “xxx”. I cannot access the image HTML code here. Please help!

    Thanks.

  • Hey,
Which editor are you using? If classic then clicking on the text tab you should be able to edit your image html, if the new block editor you can override the blocks html output by clicking the “more options” button and then edit this blocks html. But note that you will need to convert it to an html block.

I am using Elementor to draft my posts.

I am unable to access the ‘text’ for my image like I used to in the classic editor.

Hi – could you help here please?

    Hey,
    Sorry for the delay,

This is a better question for the elementor support team since they may know some things I don’t and be able to provide you with a better answer since this doesn’t have anything to do with how the theme works.

But my suggestion is to use an text widget and then click the “add media” button which will give you the same controls as in the classic editor.
