# How to create a function

 * Hello,
 * On my website, we have a list of aircraft that our company has for sale. Much
   like an online shop, we have a page with a picture of each aircraft and a link
   to the product details for each. I would like to create a function so that my
   company can add aircraft as needed through a backend form. My guess is that I
   would need one function to add the pic/link to product details and another function
   to add the product details on a separate page?

 * With that being said, I have tried to create my own function but have not had
   any success. When I tried to find more information on how to do it, I ended up
   hopelessly confused. Does anyone out there know how I can set this up?

 * I’m confused. You’re using WooCommerce, so why not just use PRODUCTS->ADD PRODUCT?
 * Specifically, what are you trying to do that you can’t do through WC directly?

 * I tried using WooCommerce; however, I am looking to make more of a catalog than
   an online store. I do not want the “Add Cart” “Account” or “Checkout” options
   on the site. I tried a few different plugins to remove those options, but they
   all gave me an error message on the product page. Any advice?

 * I created another support thread because I have not received a satisfactory answer.
   WooCommerce is not going to work for what I need. I am not interested in finding
   an existing plugin. I need a custom function, and I need to know how to create
   one. Please allow others to respond with their advice before closing my threads.

 * Yeah. Don’t do that, it makes it harder for other unpaid volunteers such as yourself
   to provide support. Normally duplicates are deleted when found.

   build some custom post types and custom taxonomies.
