Sorry, but I think you misunderstood my question. I realize I can set a listing as published or pending, but what I want to know is how do I set up a cost free listing category for example, I want to set up a lost & found category where, if someone finds a pet, they can advertise that they have found the pet, provide photos description etc. This should be free to post, but how can I do this. Similarly, if someone has lost a pet, they can add a listing with us, but they shouldn’t have to pay for this. It should be a free service. If I set a pricing option as free listing, everyone that lists will select this free option and I won’t get paid, so my question is, how do I set it up that I can offer someone a free listing on certain categories.

In our core/free plugin, user don’t need to pay to post listing. Do you want to set free or paid based on Category? Like need payment for lost category and free post found category?
Are you using only free version or included Pro version and Membership plugin with free version?

I am using the free version at present. I have set a price at $0.00 but I don’t know how to apply that to just the free “Lost & Found category” I have set up a category as Lost Found Rehome and I have created a form to be able to list these. When I test the form and hit submit, it takes me to a pricing selection that has the paid price as well as the free price. I think that if the free option is available when the user wants to list a paid ad, they will select the free price instead of selecting the paid price. Is there any way that I can set the price display based on the categories? For example, if someone wants to place an ad to sell a pet or an item, when they get to the payment page, it should only show the paid option, not the free option. Alternatively, if someone wants to list a lost, found or rehome pet and they select the lost found rehome category, when they hit submit, they should only see the free payment option, not the paid option. Can I do this?

In our free version there only available featured promotion system for each listing. You can not specify paid or free for specific category.
If you want to specify free or paid based on category, we have membership addon for it but to use membership system you have to go with Pro version also.
