# How to create mashable.com like main menu?

 * I am having trouble figuring out how to make a list of categories which would
   show subcategories and and 2-3 recent post from the selected category. I want
   something similar to the mashable.com header. I dont know if there is a special
   term for that kind of design of a menu.
    Could you guys help me out?

 * does mashable is using Ajax to pull post on hover (event) in menu or everything
   loads at start ?
 * & does the kodda mega menu is using Ajax as well ?
