 * I need to design two WordPress websites, both with contents in three different
languages. One of the clients wants to write the contents himself (in different
languages), but the other simply wants to write in his native language and have
Google Translate generate the translations. I want no widgets nor obtrusive UIs:
just a few hyperlinks to change languages. A bookmarkable URL is also necessary,
to force the proper language to be loaded on page load.
 * What are the best practices for multi-language contents in WordPress websites
I should follow in these situations? How should I develop these two different
   multi-language setups?

 * I don’t know about best practices, but as far as user interface and urls, perhaps
a recent thread and the included link might help:

 * As for the actual content, perhaps Google translate has an API? I’ve no idea
myself, they seem to have an API for everything. And for your multi-lingual client,
my immediate thought would be to have him write a single post in all three languages,
separated by some sort of tag similar to the “more” tag. Then the page templates
can have code to find the proper segment based on some language variable.
 * I hope you’re able to find a good workable solution. Cheers.
