UPDATE: I decided to try the shortcode block in place of the VideoPress block to add videos to posts. That allowed me to add the hd=true parameter and that seems to be one way to get the results I seek. Your comments will be welcomed.
Hi there, @wpnitro,
Thanks for the follow-up and to working out a solution while we get to reply to you trying the hd=true attribute to the shortcode when inserting the video into a post or page would be a suggestion, too.
If I get this right, your videos are in 1080p, but when you upload them in VideoPress, they default to a different size, then they play blurred. Can you tell me the length of these videos? If a VideoPress video is longer than three hours, we don’t encode the 480p, 720p, or 1080p files due to storage space limitations.
Let me know if that makes sense, and and we’ll take it from there if necessary. Thanks!
Hello @wpnitro,
Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
My videos are all short and sweet, usually not exceeding five minutes. So far, my solution seems to be holding up well. Thank you for your follow-up. I appreciate it.
No problems at all, @wpnitro!
I will mark this thread as solved if that’s okay with you. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
