How to enable cache access for plugin

    You will have to go check the filesystem permissions of wp-content/, wp-content/cache and wp-content/cache/autoptimize. the user with which the webserver is running should have read, write and execute permission on those.

    Yes… that helped a lot… and now everything works fine! The problem was caused by a “crash-recovered” folder with wordpress installation. Some permissions were left as per previous installation…
