# How to properly use JavaScript in posts…?

 * I need some help. I’ve checked through the various support topics on this issue
   and can’t seem to get the right answer. All I want to do is prevent WordPress
   from adding slashes into JavaScript code on a per-post basis, as shown below:
 * CORRECT: objectfix(‘
    INCORRECT: objectfix(\’
 * I have tried the Text Control plug-in and turned off the text formatting for 
   that post, but that still doesn’t work. I don’t want to disable the rich text
   editor either. Any recommendations?
