 * Hi, how can I put google analytics code which is like this “G-GXXXXXXXX” into
   this plugin?
    That I can see the report normally. Where I should move to get
   that option? Or I should take help by coding add action wp head to inject that
   code to head?
 * Thanks

 * Hi [@ashique12009](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ashique12009/),
 * Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the wait here!
 * When you install and connect MonsterInsights to your Google Analytics account,
   your tracking code will be inserted automatically for you.
 * To get started please check out our guide here: [https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/](https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/)

 * Thanks but the issue is client has given me the google analytics code but does
   not provide his gmail credentials so if I go to connect monsterinsidghts to google
   analytics then it redirects me to gmail login.
    so now if I login with my gmail
   credentials then will it be okay to see analytics report on insights in wordpress?
   I don’t think so.
 * Let guide me.
    Thanks.

 * Hi [@ashique12009](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ashique12009/),
 * Thanks for clarifying that for me.
 * In this case, your client does not need to provide Gmail credentials, instead,
   you can ask your client to share Google Analytics access with you. They can complete
   this by following our step-by-step guide here:
 * [https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/how-to-grant-user-access-in-google-analytics/](https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/how-to-grant-user-access-in-google-analytics/)
 * Once they’ve shared access with you, you can authenticate MonsterInsights into
   their Google Analytics property for them using your Google account that was provided
   shared access.
 * An alternative solution is to ask the client themselves to connect MonsterInsights
   and Google Analytics by following this guide:
 * [https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/](https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/)
 * We do have a manual tracking option, which you can use by going to **Insights**»**
   Settings** and clicking on the text **Or manually enter UA code (limited functionality)**
   just below the Connect MonsterInsights button. Here is an example screenshot:
   [https://a.supportally.com/i/PMMdtd](https://a.supportally.com/i/PMMdtd)
 * But that is meant to be a temporary workaround while authentication or tracking
   issues are being resolved. We typically recommend users of MonsterInsights to
   fully complete the Setup Wizard to get full use of the reporting and tracking
   features we provide. If the Setup Wizard is not completed, reports will not be
   accessible at **Insights** » **Reports** and some tracking features will not
   work as expected.
 * I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
 * Thanks!
