How to remove 2011 template header completely.

    I am currently making a 2011 child theme completely and I want to remove the header completely.So that my logo is the only thing that shows over the menu bar.I have inspected the header with fire bug and I still cant find the element to remove header image Help.

    dashboard – appearance – header:

    click ‘remove header image’
    then click ‘save changes’

    you can also:
    un-tick ‘Show header text with your image.’
    but this might interfere with the way your logo is inserted (?)
