    Hello!

I have successfully installed and configured a website with the plugin.

Then I’ve tried to clone this website to start a development of another website in another domain. But I noticed that when I try to connect with the plugin to Facebook it remains with some data that appears to be from previous website, I noticed this in parameters in the URL in the last step so I didnt finished setup as I thought it could get something wrong.

I’ve tried to uninstall and install again the plugin, I’ve tried to do some clean with WP Optimize to clean database and I’ve used Better Search Replace to search database for every term of the original website to replace with the name of the new one. But it didn’t work properly.

Could you give me some orientation on how I could completely remove data of the plugin in my website and make a clean installation again?

    Hi there!

The best course of action would be:

    • Temporarily disable any cache plugins you are using and clear the cache
    • Remove the facebook-for-woocommerce plugin directory from the wp-content/plugins
    • Install the plugin and establish the connection
    • Go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and run the Facebook: Delete Background Sync Jobs and then Facebook: Reset connection settings jobs
    • Re-connect to your page/assets

If the issue persists, go to your-site/wp-admin/options.php and change the wc_facebook_external_business_id (you can change it to any random value).

Please let us know if this fixes the issue, or you need further assistence.

    Kind regards,
    Marija

Hello, thank you for the quick reply.

Unfortunately, I don’t see any option “Facebook: Delete Background Sync Jobs” and “Facebook: Reset connection settings jobs” in WooCommerce > Status > Tools.

I also dont see “wc_facebook_external_business_id” or anything related to Facebook in /wp-admin/options.php

    How should I proceed? Thanks

    Hey @rafaelzrt ,

The plugin may not have connected correctly if you are not seeing these options. Can you share the System Status report using PrivateBin, and any relevant errors you’re seeing in the debug.log?

    Kind regards,
    Marija
