# How to remove space around the icon?

 * Seems to be an annoying space around the icon. How do I remove that? Fiddling
   around in inspector panel changing the viewbox from “-2 -2 24 24” to “2 2 16 
   16” made it look like what I want. But can’t change viewbox values from the block
   settings. What’s the problem here?

 * Thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the delayed reply. The icons provided
   in the plugin come directly from the [WordPress icon library](https://wordpress.github.io/gutenberg/?path=/story/icons-icon--library),
   and these SVGs commonly include extra space. This is not something added by the
   plugin, just an inherent “feature” of the SVG library used.
 * To remove the space, you will need to use CSS, or better yet, use a custom SVG
   that’s formatted exactly as you want.
