# How to remove WordPress automatic redirection?

 * Hi,
 * I removed the following url from my website: [https://wordpresskotisivutyritykselle.fi/kotisivut/](https://wordpresskotisivutyritykselle.fi/kotisivut/)
 * I want to submit this URL to search console to remove it, but now WordPress automatically
   redirects it to a similar URL:
 * [https://wordpresskotisivutyritykselle.fi/kotisivut-hintalaskuri/](https://wordpresskotisivutyritykselle.fi/kotisivut-hintalaskuri/)
 * The only redirection plugin I have is Rankmath, but I only have 2 redirections
   there, none which are related to any of the above URLs (I haven’t used any other
   redirect plugins).
 * I also found another article but without solutions, [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-a-redirect-created-by-wordpress/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-a-redirect-created-by-wordpress/)
 * How to remove this from happening?

 * You can delete these directly from the db like this:

 * Yes, very annoying.
 * Thanks for providing these links, but they seem to be too advanced for my skill
   level. Does WP-optimize allow disabling it as well? I couldn’t find information
   indicating that it does.

 * Not sure which of the two ways is best, perhaps someone who understands code 
   knows? Anyway, hopefully it helps others as well.
