• Hello,

I just created a banner using Banner Effect software and followed the instructions to import it into WordPress. However, what I wanted was to have it REPLACE the default banner in the Ascent Theme, but it ended up being inserted on top of my website IN ADDITION TO THE ASCENT THEME BANNER!

Please (i) how can I delete the new banner I just installed using Banner Effect; and (ii) how do I REPLACE the default Ascent banner with my new banner?

My website is http://www.kazamindustries.ca if you want to view it!

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I checked out your suggestion on the link at:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-banner/

It doesn’t really help me to figure out how to REPLACE the default banner that came with the Ascent Theme.

I had no problem bringing my newly created banner into WordPress using the Banner effect plugin and software. However, as I explained above the process just ADDED another banner (at the topmost part of the header) instead of replacing the default banner.

I guess I am looking for a TARGETED WAY OF BRINGING IN THE NEW BANNER SO IT ENDS UP AT A SPECIFIC LOCATION ON THE HEADER INSTEAD OF JUST ANYWHERE ON THE HEADER AREA! But more specifically, I just want to replace the current default banner with my own banner. Is there a way to specify where the new banner should go when it’s being imported into WordPress?

    Thanks!
