You cant. The matching is based off of the url. The best you can do is to use a plugin filter and fuzzy url matching to affect its children. So if you have a post with the url http://www.mysite.com/category/mycat/my-post-title you could create a filter with the permalink set to http://www.mysite.com/category/mycat and select also affect children. Then all posts with a url that start with http://www.mysite.com/category/mycat will be affected.
