# .htaccess file error message

 * Hi – I have WP Fastest Cache Pro plugin. I tried today to update options on the
   plugin, and got the message: .htaccess file was not found. I checked with my 
   host, and the .htaccess file is there, in the root folder. But it seems that 
   the plugin is having trouble “seeing” it.
 * Can you provide some help on this?

 * can you delete the .htaccess file via FTP please? and later can you save the 
   permalinks settings again please?
