htaccess problem

I’ve searched very long for the solution of my problem, and I found it in the changed .htaccess file. What is it about?

In the wordpress image editor is it possible to change the imagesize, crop it or rotate the image. At some point it ditn’t work anymore. Only a message told me: ‘Could not load the preview image. Relaod the page and try it again.’.
Then I tried to deactivate all plugins. Step by step I’ve activeded plugin for plugin. After the activation of All In One WP Security & Firewall the error comes not yet. The plugin asked me, if it can insert the security rules insert in the .htaccess file. I replied with ‘yes’. And then comes the error message again.

The following line in the .htaccess generates the error:
RewriteRule .* – [F]
in the section 5G:[QUERY STRINGS]. My question is, can I disable this line or change it to a another method, without decrease my security ? What another method can i use for this line? Has anybody the same problem?
