# HTML Code in Emails

 * I just installed this plugin and am testing it out. All received emails (both
   to the newly registered users and the site admin) are showing HTML code instead
   of it being parsed correctly. For example, the email that the admin receives 
   after a user registers is like this in my inbox:

 * The only thing that shows in the form’s email template under “New Submission 
   Email Body” is `{{SUBMISSION_DATA}}`
 * I have WordPress 5.3.2 and RegistrationMagic 4.5.9.3
 * I have checked this same email in other email clients and it shows the same thing.
   Not sure if this is a bug that’s already been submitted but please help.

 * Please try deactivating all plugins except RegistrationMagic and check whether
   the issue still persists. If yes, we would require your site’s admin access details
   temporarily. Could you please share your site’s admin dashboard access by creating

   in order to allow us investigate this in detail.

 * Thanks. The issue that is causing emails to show code instead of supporting HTML
   correctly seems to be with the Post SMTP plugin (used for handling emails), specifically
   when “PostSMTP” is enabled for the mail type. When I switch the mail type to “
   PHPMailer”, the emails from reg magic display correctly. See this screenshot.

 * Hi,
 * It seems like the POST SMTP plugin is overwriting the content type for email.
   There is no option in “POST SMTP plugin” that allows sending HTML emails.
 * Meanwhile you can go with “PHP Mailer” option in “POST SMTP plugin” for sending
   email.

 * Looks like Post SMTP is still showing code in registration magic emails only.
   Do you recommend a compatible SMTP plugin for WordPress?

 * Same here… This seems like a pretty common issue, and a total dealbreaker for
   anotherwise fantastic plugin
