# HTML Description Issue

* Hello!
* I add a marker.
Add HTML description. Update the map.
* When I go back to edit the marker – the html description is gone. And it happens
every time I save the map.
* What can it be?

* Hi,
* That’s because the Google Maps don’t allow you to add HTML tags in the maps so
we can’t add that. Your HTML will be stripped away and you can put plain text
there only.
