 * Since the last update, my posts from postie are not coming out as expected. I
can not tell if the issue is from the system which sends the email, or postie
   itself.
 * My system is a crm which uses shortcodes to populate the email. Up until last
week, this worked. Now, all that populates in wordpress is the shortcodes from
the crm, although the email is full of content as it always has been.
 * I switched my setting Message>Preferred Text Type to HTML and the issue goes
away. This makes sense. Im happy with that, but it leaves me with a new issue.
Now the body of my text is over filled with dozens of p tags and a few divs usually.
All of which are random and seem to have no order. Here is an example of just
a part of a ppost. There are more in other parts of the post:
    `creating accessible
spaces to celebrate the value of water. </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></
   p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></
   p><p></p><p></p> </div>`
 * Flip flopping the setting Messages>Allow HTML In Mail Body has no effect or change.
Also, I use the Shortcodes plugin you sell for part of my data. I do not think
its part of the issue. I think its either the html settings are changed in the
code, or the content of the email is whacky in some manner.
 * Any ideas on what I can search for while troubleshooting?

 * Postie only saves what it gets from the email, so all the P elements must be
   inserted by your CRM.
 * It could also be that the shortcode is getting mangled by the email client or
server when converting to plain text.
 * 2 options:
 * 1) Send a copy of the email directly from the CRM to [test@postieplugin.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/html-in-posts-after-update/test@postieplugin.com?output_format=md)
so I can see the email structure
 * 2) Use the Support AddOn to save the logs and raw email into your media folder
then send that zip file to [help@postieplugin.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/html-in-posts-after-update/help@postieplugin.com?output_format=md)
