 * I’m building an html notification email and using a table and other inline CSS
   setup. It all looks fine when sending from Contact Form 7 (as a test) and in
   the actual HTML editor and the WYSYWIG setup. However, when I send through the
   static send or the notification, it is adding all sorts of extra code, duplicating
   table cells, divs, and adding BR. Is there any way to turn that feature off so
   I can have maximum control over the email setup?

 * Sorry for inconvenience caused. We have noted this down and we’ll fix it in later
   releases of Email Subscribers.

 * That would be great. It’s an incredible solution for about 80% of what we do.
   If it was an option to turn off any kind of auto formatting and just import the
   variables into whatever template we create, it would be 100% perfect. It’s a
   feature I’d pay for in a pro version.

 * **+1** I’m seeing this same issue.

 * I downloaded the latest update and found that if I leave off closing tags, it
   works, but it’s somewhat inconsistent.
 * I’ve been able to create a pretty good template with images and table layout,
   but if something renders oddly, the whole thing blows up. If it would not try
   to close tags automatically and leave that up to the template composer, that
   would be a great feature. Even if it were a checkbox that you turned on for “
   Don’t attempt to format my template”, you could have choice in the design and
   setup.

 * Hi,
    I installed this plugin on several sites. I love it, as one has control
   over the email addresses and offers all the functionality needed by a good subscription
   plugin. Having said that: the HTML formatting of the plugin does not seem to
   work at all. I tried several HTML Newsletter codes, validated the code with regards
   to W3C. I used a template of Mailchimp, the code displays fine in the browser.
   However, this plugin does not seem to be able to interpret the code at all. Needless
   to say, the standard text messages are ugly in comparison. This is really a show
   stopper for us. Is there a timeframe, when this will be fixed or a work around?
   I read about the closing tags been left away, which ones exactly? Has anyone
   a working HTML sample code? Or a plugin alternative except jetpack? Thank you,
   Matt

 * Another +1 … The plugin is great but I NEED the functionality to be able to style
   my HTML more easily, efficiently and reliably. It’s too temperamental at the
   moment.
