# HTML stripped

 * Hello,
 * I really like this plugin, but I am having an issue with HTML import. I have 
   tried several things (and searched this support forum).
 * I am trying to import an RSS feed of which the body/description field contains
   some html (div, ul etc. with classes). I verified that the rss feed contains 
   these characters which are, ofcourse, encoded.
 * Whatever I am trying, the plugin removes all but br and p. I would like it to
   decode and use the html from the rss feed.
 * I am using the shortcode part of the plugin (I need several rss feeds imported
   into standard pages).

 * right now, the plugin doesn’t let you customize what tags are stripped…but you
   can change the code to do this. Go to line 257 in the execrpt_functions.php file
   and you’ll see what tags are being retained now..just changed that tot whatever
   you want.
