# HTML Text Editor Not Displaying Code

 * Hi, I want to edit the code of a post in wordpress. I click onto the ‘Text’ button
   and it is nothing but blank. I have plenty of content on my page which has been
   built using the Avia Advanced Layout Editor.
 * I would like to edit alt tags and descriptions of my images through the editor.
 * Appreciate any help.

 * I’m not familiar with this layout editor you’re using, are you able to disable
   it to check if the page loads normally? If you have several plugins installed
   then it is a good idea to de-activate those too to see if this rectifies the 
   issue.

 * You could also try activating the default _TwentySixteen_ theme to ensure there
   are no conflictions occuring.
 * Just need to narrow down the search for the cause of the issue you’re having.
