 * Hi everyone!
    My name is Blanca, I’m new in this WOrdpress world and Im looking
   for a plugin that allows me to insert html5 code in my site, as I want to insert
   interactive infographics in my web. I also need a template that accept that plugin.¿
   Any idea?
 * I’ll appreciate any advice about this is issue, as I’m a bit lost here.
 * Thanks a lot,
    blanca

 * WordPress allows you to enter HTML (any version is fine) into the ‘Text’ editor,
   when you edit a page or post. Are you saying you don’t want to use this?

 * Hi Andrew,
    I though that option was only for a simply html code. ¿And what if
   I need to insert a javascript code? ¿Can I do it without any plugin? Thanks!

 * Oh, I didn’t quite understand what you meant by “HTML5”. HTML5 is just a version
   of HTML. Off topic a bit: Where did you hear about this term? On topic:
 * You can use a plugin to handle your JS: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/tc-custom-javascript/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tc-custom-javascript/)

 * I got it! I think thats what I need.
 * Html5 is the code that provides a program called Hype, which is made to create
   interactive animations and other stuff without any code.
 * “Create beautiful HTML5 web content. Interactive web content and animations made
   with Tumult Hype work on desktops, smartphones and iPads. No coding required”
 * So you just have to take the code it provides when exporting an archive and thats
   what I need to put in my future website 😉

 * Ah they’re misusing the term a bit 😉
    Do they provide any instructions with
   how to import, or embed, the code that they export? It may be true that no coding(
   knowledge) is required to create the export, but that’s probably not the case
   when importing it.

 * Don’t tell me! That sounds scary!
    It is supposed to be very easy but I haven’t
   get to that base in WordPress yet. This is what they say: “When exporting, Tumult
   Hype creates an entirely self-contained directory that holds all the resources
   and JavaScript for your content. Upload that directory to your web server, copy
   and paste three lines of HTML into your existing web page, and you’re good to
   go.”
 * They also have some video-tutorials to help users to do it..

 * Have you asked them about integrating it into WordPress? It’s not really their
   job to know how to do that, but since they’re claiming that it’s easy then they
   should let you know how easy it is. The above comment (“When exporting, Tumult
   Hype creates a…”) is just a very top-level statement about how to integrate their
   stuff.

 * There are ways to integrate their stuff and I could walk you through the best
   approach, but I’m thinking that they may have a plugin already on WordPress –
   as they would have soon discovered it’s not something for the non-coder.

 * Note that using their technique to edit the theme’s files, this change will be
   erased when you update WordPress.
